Guided Astronomical Tours
A night sky tour with a 12″ Dobsonian telescope – great for viewing outside of our solar system such as galaxies and nebulae – and two 8″ Classic Cassegrain telescopes – great for viewing objects inside our solar system including the moon and the weather bands of Jupiter. All of our astronomy experiences are weather dependant.
Full Moon Tours
We also offer full moon tours which start earlier and last about an hour. On our full moon tours we discuss moon phases, the tides, what the moon is made of, the Apollo landings and why the moon is so important for the existence of life on Earth. Our full moon tours work particularly well for younger children.
