- All customers agree to abide by the terms, conditions, and the instructions of Hamurana Skies Limited.
- We require a $20 deposit per person for bookings which can be fully refunded where weather results in cancellation. This deposit is otherwise non refundable when customers cancel in less than 24 hours. We accept payment of the balance by EFTPOS on site before the sessions begin.
- Customers are responsible for being on time which is a least ten minutes before the session starts.
- Please, no bright lights including from cell phones because the night vision of the whole group will be lost, and the experience spoilt for everyone. Even better, give yourself a nice break from that cell phone and turn it off. It is for these reasons we use low level red light around the telescopes and in the kitchen and dining room area of the house. Children’s light up shoes are not suitable for our astronomy experiences.
- Direction of our telescopes must only be undertaken by persons authorised to do so by Hamurana Skies Limited. All use of our telescopes by customers of guided observation tours will occur under the direct or indirect supervision of persons authorised by Hamurana Skies Limited.
- It is also very important not to grab the telescopes as this will cause misalignment or even damage to the equipment. We have a stepladder on which smaller people can stand and hold onto.
- Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian to prevent running around and grabbing of the telescopes. Our guided astronomical tours are probably better suited to children who are over eight years of age. Our Full Moon Tours are better suited for younger children.
- In the event that a session is radically cut short by weather Hamurana Skies will issue a full refund
- Hamurana Skies Limited is a family show. Intoxication and anti-social behaviours including trespassing and causing disturbances to our neighbours on their properties and on the grounds of the wider estate may result in being asked to leave.
- All astronomical activities undertaken by all customers will occur on our property and not the common grounds of the wider estate.
